What are Hydrolates?

Hydrolates also known as floral waters, hydrosols, herbal waters and essential waters are obtained through the infusion of specific flower petals.

 

They are water-soluble, obtained by steam distillation or hydrodistillation of plants/herbs and not as concentrated as essential oils.

​

These hydrolates are pure and simple product from steam distillation. They do not contain alcohol or preservative.
